Snowshoeing Portland Trails

Winter, Portland, Maine.  Plenty of snow, lots of sun, 20+ degrees.  Seemed like an ideal time to go snowshoeing!  Christy & I bound the snowshoes to our feet, hiked across the hill behind the house, and through the Fore River Sanctuary.  The Fore River Sanctuary trail is a part of the extensive network of Portland Trails, a non-profit dedicated to preserving green space since 1991.  We are fortunate to live so close to it.  Thanks to Jon & Suzanne for the snowshoes!

Roxy was right there with us the whole way.  It was a great day to hike!
