Chicago 2017: Fancy bibs upon request.

I took a trip to Chicago June 5-9 for a information packed conference with some colleagues in order to learn more about current trends in e-commerce & technology. It was a great experience. I learned a ton at the conference, met great people, and had a fun time exploring this beautiful city. It is a great place – full of culture, architecture, food, and so much more. I did not have enough time to see everything in the city that I wanted to – work, conference & stuff – and will enjoy seeing it again some day.
Some of my favorite places, and things I did, were: visiting the Art Institute of Chicago – you could easily spend days here; eating the Thunderbird sandwich at Green Street Smoked Meats (next time, High Five Ramen, next time); great dinner and company at Smith & Wollensky; evening walks and runs downtown, along the waterfront and around Soldier field; seeing Cloud Gate and Millennium Park; and picking up lots of sugary sweets at Dylan’s Candy Bar.
